Trilbys and Fedoras
Trilbys and Fedoras What is the difference between a trilby and a fedora? After much research, the answer is still unclear. Some say that the trilby has a shorter brim which is downturned at the front and up slightly at the back, where as the fedora has a wider brim which is more level. However, others seem to disagree with this. The main difference tends to be personal preference and where you come from! In the UK, the term 'trilby' is commonly used where as in the USA, most use the term 'fedora'. We have used both 'trilby' and 'fedora', but when discussing them in general we use 'trilby'. Our trilbys are of excellent quality available in both fur felt and wool felt. Christys' fur felt trilbys are made by hand in the UK.
